Is Full Tilt Rescue Wishful Thinking?

Last weekend, the poker community learnt  that French investment company Groupe Bernard Tapie was in the process of negotiating the acquisition of Full Tilt Poker, conditional on certain criteria first being met.

The investment company was founded by Bernard Tapie, with his son Laurent Tapie currenty the Managing Director of the company. Talking about the signed acquisition agreement, would be CEO of Full Tilt Laurent Tapie commented:

We are going to put all the money into the company we need to please the players.

How to Cheat your Friends at Poker

Poker is an interesting game, one in which the line between being moral and respectful is often blurred by the games primary goal: outplay, lie and steal as much money as you possibly can.

While I don’t condone cheating in almost any aspect of life, poker is a bit of a grey area. You see as long poker has existed, so has the poker cheat. I’m of the opinion that if something has always been one way and always will be one way, then that’s just the way it is; accept it and move on.

Trishelle Cannatella lands sponsorship deal with SureBet Poker

Model, actress, and poker player Trishelle Cannatella is now amongst the very few poker players who have landed post-Black Friday sponsorship deals, as she has officially inked a deal with the still to be launched Surebet Poker Amanda Leatherman also landed a deal with Bodog which gives a good indication of precisely what type of US poker player sites are looking for these days.
